Will it fit your work?
- Your input
- A table with period columns such as 001/2026 or Jan. Supply Year for yearless headers and Culture for text amounts.
- Your result
- Identifier columns plus Year, Period, Date and Value. Invalid amounts stop the query by default.
- What you need
- Power Query. SAP_CleanList is optional; any suitable input table works. 15 scenarios (headers, cultures, invalid cells) passed natively in Power BI Desktop (17 Oct 2026) and Excel Power Query (19 Oct 2026).
- Check this first
- Special periods 13–16 map to December. This convention does not replace your SAP fiscal-period mapping.
